I'm Commander Arcturus Raiyn, Welcome to the Pharoah!
Located along the Romulan Neutral Zone, Obsidian Fleet (Federation 9th Fleet) is tasked with maintaining a strong Starfleet presence. Even with renewed peace talks with the Romulan Star Empire and growing trouble caused by the destruction of the Romulan home world, Federation's borders have seen increased activity. Piracy is on the rise.
Both Alpha and Beta Quadrants are still in post-Dominion War condition and this has also contributed to allowed internal and external rogue factions of the Federation to prosper. With resources so thinly spread, the Federation interests in both the military and civilian sectors must be maintained. With the U.S.S. Pharoah tasked to Peacekeeping, as Starfleet isn't involved in any wars, enforcing the borders has become a key issue to maintaining law and order.
Border Patrol missions always include the security and observation of the borders of Federation space. However, FBP ships also carry out other missions, to include transportation of goods and people, tracking and apprehending criminals or illegal organizations, passive and active intelligence retrieval, and whatever other missions that Starfleet requires of the Pharoah and its resources.

Good day all,
After some reflection and consideration of time commitments for both SIMMs and RL, I have decided it is best that I decline to position of CO at this point.
Thank you for all of your help and I look forward to seeing you on other SIMMs.

Current status of the SIMM:
1) I have been assigned as CO and have access to the site but it will take me some time to sort it out as it is a busy month for me and (unlike Karulean) I am not so good with the programming stuff.
2) I have enrolled in OF's CO training and should have that done by the end of the year.
However, as I work retail, my free time is in process of vanishing so things will not move forward as fast as I would like.
